Past Projects - 1-Axis Robot
We were asked by a UK University to build a 1-Axis Servo Control System to control their 1-Axis Golf Robot. They required a Servo Motor and Drive in full closed loop and we selected a Delta ASDA-A2 Servo Drive and Delta EMCA Servo Motor. The Motion Controller is a Trio MC403. We have connected the Controller to an HNC TP2507 7" Colour HMI for operator interfacing.
In addition the University required the motor path to be logged against time and saved to PC. We used an SD card on the Trio to save the logged data and then a Trio Software Package to transfer the data to a PC via an Ethernet link. The raw data is saved in csv format which then converted in a spreadsheet to display the path curve for their use.
